Job Title: Part-Time Sales Assistant

We are looking for a Part-Time Sales Associate to join our team and work with us to provide an exceptional customer experience.

Job Description: As a Part-Time Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their purchases, answering questions about products, helping choose and co-ordinate fabrics and helping to create a positive shopping experience. You will also be responsible for handling cash and credit card transactions, using our point of sale system, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. You will be required to work 2 days a week, Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers and assisting with their furniture and home decor needs
• Answering questions about product availability, features, and benefits
• Providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Using our point of sale system to process transactions and handle cash and credit card payments
• Maintaining a clean and organized store environment
• Contributing to the growth and success of our store

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Sales skills and experience in a retail environment
• Basic computer skills
• A passion for home design and furniture
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Flexibility to work on Saturdays and additional hours during peak seasons
