A two-part desk/floor planter with a mouth-blown glass planting bowl and a powder-coated steel base. An open channel in the steel base exposes the plant roots to the right amount of light, whilst lending the design an appearance of lightness. Suitable for growing indoor bulbs, herbs and plants.

Materials & making
The glass planter bowl is expertly mouth-blown by skilled glassblowers into a wooden mould. The rims of each are melted, creating a finish that is smooth and modern. The open channel in the powder coated steel base gives an appearance of lightness to the design, exposing the inner glass planter and the plant roots to the right amount of light.
